Recording Packages
$200* - Archival Recording Package: Tailored to the
school, church, or community music program on a budget, the Archival
Recording Package allows the client to preserve up to 78 continuous
minutes of pristine stereo audio to a compact disc. Longfooter
engineers are trained in the performing arts as well as in audio
recording, and therefore understand the need for recording services to
be as discreet and unobtrusive as possible. Package includes basic
recording (on-site), editing, and mastering of as much as 78 minutes of
audio to be taken from a performance event up to 2 hours long.
Client receives 2 master copies on CD-R.

$350* - The Working Musician's Demo: A step above the
Archival package, this service gives you 8 hours of multi-track
recording, overdubbing, mixing, editing, and mastering. The
session culminates with the creation of two master copies of a
highly-polished, professional representation of your work for the
purpose of replicating and distributing to potential clients. The
perfect solution for the weekend warrior who needs to showcase his or
her abilities to get new work, or for the aspiring songwriter/composer
that wants to commit elaborate ideas to disc.
$2500* - The Organizational Fundraiser Package: Have a
church, school, or community ensemble that's rich in talent but low on
funding? Why not capitalize on your group's musical abilities and
collective networking potential with a CD fundraiser? Longfooter
Productions will spend up to an 8 hour session of recording and
photography to capture the essence of your ensemble's sound and look,
and transform this material into 1000 slick, glass-mastered, color-print,
bar-coded, jewel-cased CDs in a turn-around time of about 30
days. Sell CDs of your ensemble at $10/copy and still make 75
cents on the dollar- why bother with candy bar sales when you get a
larger profit margin selling your own music? Fund your cruise, retreat,
or European tour with a project that will immortalize your ensemble's
hard work at the same time that it's earning money.
Note: Mechanical licensing of any copyrighted music is the responsibility of the client.
$4000* - Platinum Recording Package: For the serious
artist, band, or ensemble looking to break out onto the scene and reach a
larger audience. This flagship service is the premier offering
from Longfooter Productions, with the purpose of creating a
commercial-grade CD-album for retail sale. Package features up to
30 hours of multi-track recording time and as much as 40 hours of
mixing, editing, and mastering. Also includes photography, graphic
design, lay-out, and assistance with "paperwork" issues such as
acquisition of mechanical licensing and registration of copyright with
the Library of Congress. In addition to production services, the
Platinum Recording Package includes 1,000 poly-wrapped, glass-mastered,
bar-coded, jewel-cased CDs with full-color inserts and tray-cards.
